    Default [1.1.2 OTB]Will hactivated iphones show service bars?

    I hactivated my 1.1.2 OTB by downgrading to 1.1.1 then using independance and reupgraded to 1.1.2... Now im waiting on my next sim to arrive and was wondering if its normal for my iphone to say No Service where the bars should be if i havent activated my cingular chip...
