I was extremely happy with my iPhone for 2-3 weeks. It worked like a charm.

I installed the Hightymes source in AppTapp and tried to install the Simpsons Ringtone. Very stupid idea, I know. During the app install I got a "script execution error" or something like that. can't remember the exact message. I uninstalled the source and then foolishly restarted the iPhone, and now it has gone crazy.

It starts up longer than usual. I had Customize along with SummerBoard installed and now their settings are all mixed up or something. The worse part is that it repeatedly freezes, sometimes shows the spinning loading icon and then restarts the springboard. I see a quick glimpse of the apple logo when the springboard restarts. Does this means it restars the whole iPhone? I can hardly get 5 seconds of respone from it after each restart.

Actually I think the worse thing might be that my iTunes doesn't detect it anymore I don't know how to recover.

I managed to get a glimpse of what's in the Installer app. The WiFi is off and I couldn't manage to turn it on. However I got into the Uninstall tab, and there was only AppTap available there even though I still see most of my extra apps on the Springboard. Didn't uninstall it cause it restarted again anyway.

I'm still praying for a solution. Can you PLEASE HELP?



Worse case scenario: if it's bricked.. I live in Romania and would have to take it in the US. Will the Apple Store help me or is my warranty void or something like that?

maybe you try to restore it using itunes first, if everything is ok, jailbreak it again. itunes can recognize it right ?

That's one of the big problems... It doesn't react to it at all.

OK, I've got something.. managed to enter the Settings where it doesn't seem to restart anymore.

I see there is a option in General called reset.

I have some stuff including "Reset All Settings" and "Erase All Content And Settings".

Should I use one of these?

I did the erase but I'm still screwed

If I give the phone to apple in the US, and clearly they will see I have jailbroken it.. can I still pay for a repair or something? If they void my warranty
