Default [1.1.2 OTB] Problem completing the Jailbreak process

As stated I’m having a problem completing the Jailbreak process. Just got an OTB 1.1.2 and wanted to Jailbreak it. I followed the tutorial on iClarified the ‘Windows version’ I did everything step by step and everything seemed to be working fine but when I tried to Jailbreak the 1.1.2 by running windows.bat from the Jailbreak folder it kept saying that I have to install OktoPrep which was already installed when I downgraded to 1.1.1. I decided to start over by DFU and starting the process all over but I came across the same problem.

    Any suggestions?

I think I know what the problem is, after reading across the forum I cam to realize that I’m using SHIFT+RESTORE to upgrade back to 1.1.2 instead of SHIT+UPGRADE which is removing the OktoPrep since it is doing a restore.
Now all the post that I have read were previous to the 1.1.3 update therefore I’m concerned that I might accidentally upgrade to 1.1.3. Can someone please confirm that SHIT+UPGRADE will allow you to retrieve the fw 1.1.2 and upgrade without updating to 1.1.3?

I would truly appreciate some help

    Thanks.

Assuming you've never downloaded 1.1.3, just hit shift-upgrade and see what happens. If it opens up a dialog window to choose firmware, you're good. If it starts downloading 1.1.3, just hit cancel and pop the iphone out of the dock. Download should take a couple of minutes so don't worry, plenty of time to catch that.

You could try disabling your internet before all that too but not sure whether itunes will complain about that.

In any case, I think shift-upgrade will allow you to choose the firmware file.
