    Default [1.1.2 OTB] Legit AT&T updated to 1.1.3 > can i Jailbreak/Soft Update ?

I ahve an OTB 1.1.2 iPhone with a legit virgin phone on AT&T. I have upgraded the iPhone to 1.1.3 via Itunes.

I was wondering if there are any methods to jailbreak my phone to run 3rd party apps? I read all different things betwen multiple posts here and at modmyifone. I am just looking to see if its possible, and to see where a good link is to the guides i would need, since it will be my first time hacking the iphone.

    thanks in advance!

This should work, then follow the 1.1.3 jailbreak method of choice and make sure you get the legit lockdownd file that's been posted earlier and put it on your phone after you soft update (reboot after doign so). Otherwise, the phone won't think a legit SIM is in it.

This post has more info, kinda specific to the Nate JB method but it also has the link to the lockdownd file you'll need later (so you can use Google LocateMe and have phone/SMS service).

I also have a 1.1.2 OTB still locked to ATT (I've been w/ them for 5 years, so I don't need/want to unlock); I jailbroke a while ago. Personally, I'm a bit leery of upgrading to 1.1.3 using either of these JB methods...it just seems that 1.1.2 OTB versions are kinda left out in the cold since I don't believe the dev team really has been able to do much w/ the 4.6 bootloader that we have... Just my opinion--I'm not gonna upgrade firmware until features improvements are added that compel me to upgrade. Jailbreaking depends on whether the dev team ever actually gives us an upgrade path that doesn't require all of this downgrading first... Maybe I'm just talking out of my a$$...

well is there anyway to downgrade to 1.1.2 and stay there but unlock id be happy with goin back to 1.1.2 for the time being just to be able to use 3rd party apps, i can always upgrade to 1.1.3 when the sdk comes out.
