[1.1.2 OTB] I have some basic *sim questions now that SW unlock is impossible. Thanks
So now that the software unlock has been confirmed to be impossible, I have decideded to go with the *sim solutions out there for my 1.1.2 OTB iphones. Would like to get these working instead of having them collect dust.
I have searched the forum, but these questions seems a bit too basic and are not covered anywhere. Would appreciate your help.
1) I see that most *sim solutions require cutting of your sim card. How would that work when you want to change phone? Do I have to get a new sim card from my operator?
2) Do the *sim solutions survive FW updates at all? I dont mind waiting but does it come eventually? For example, if I buy a *sim card right now, will it work with 1.1.3 in a month? I am very interested in having 1.1.3 in the future.
3) Lastly, which *sim is the most easily available right now? I searched and read that most are sold out of stock. Any recommandations?
Cheers,
Thank you

2) The original bladox turbosim will survive future updates since you can program it your self. If you buy a pre programmed sim it most likely will not survive.

Thank you idastheman. Any ideas on 1) and 3)?

for 1) i'd imagine it would work fine in any phone since you only cut a small piece out and most phones it goes right by the battery somewhere, i wouldn't see a problem just putting it in there.
and for 3) I have no clue, i'm trying to find the original turbosim for my self, but looks like i'm going to have to go with easyisim which seems to have it in stock and seems to work well for people. there is a thread about it in the *sim forum.
