I have working 1.1.2 OTB and have no problems . i used geohot unlock from iClarified. I like to upgrade to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4. Which one is better and which way to do it? Should i just use the installer app to upgrade? my WI-FI works fine. any help is appriciated.


I also have my friends iPhone that i like to help him with. it's got 1.0.2 at this moment and is unlocked and working. i am not sure if it was 1.1.1 otb or 1.0.2 originally? it's week 40 and he wants to get it upgraded to a 1.1.3 or 1.1.4. do i have to use itunes or Wi-Fi or can i do it differently? Do i need to return to original firmware or ....... please help?

for you iphone just restore with itunes to 1.1.4 and use iliberty to jailbreak activate and unlock

For your friend iphone if it´s 1.0.2 most likely was unlocked with an old version of anysim or unlock fast or iunlock, you will need to virginize, you can follow this guide:

after that restore to 1.1.4 and jailbreak, activate and unlock with iliberty
