[1.1.2 OTB] How do i know it is a real 1.1.2 OTB ?
Hi, Iam new here. I bought used 8gb from Eby, seller said is 1.1.2.
I check by calling emergency call ##* thing it is 1.1.2.
Iam waiting my turbosim now. The one that make me nervous is; I see on forum some people they did upgrade to 1.1.3 by accident then down it back to 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.
My concern is: 1. How do I know/check if my phone is "True"/Original 1.1.2.
2. How do I check my phone is in perfect working condition while Iam waiting for my trbsim. Because I don't want to loose my "chance" to return it to the seller if something wrong.
please help me....
Also, there is a big globe with the 'Slide to Unlock" underneath of it.
Can I use the active ATT sim card just the way like that w/out to do anything, I tried but didn't work while it worked on other phone.

If it says slide to unlock, that means it's jailbroken. Check the firmware on your phone. 1.1.2 Phones are 04.02.13_G I think. I'm not completely sure about this, but if the 4th & 5th digits of your phone's serial number are 45 or less(might be a different number), then it's a bootloader older than 4.6. Week 45 and onwards are the new 4.6 Bootloader.
The big globe is just the wallpaper of the phone. You can change that in the settings.

IF Its possible, go to settings>general>about
here you should see ur version number 1.1.2
serial number
model
then at the bottom u should see 04.02.13_G
if ur still at the slide to activate screen then u should go ahead and jailbreak the iphone to be ready for your turbosim
and also, DO NOT UPGRADE TO 1.1.3 lol

Yes, I can see it too by the above direction instead of *3001#12345#*...
So, is that mean my phone is okay? How can I use the active ATT SIM while Iam waiting my trbsim?

Yes, you can use the ATT sim to check out the phone although there's no telling if the phone is unlocked or not. Probably not, since you are waiting for a *sim. Throw it in and see what happens, it won't hurt it. Keep in mind that if the ATT account doesn't have a data plan, some functions might not be working if you don't have wifi.

gsmkucool, you are good to go
your at a perfect point, just keep reading and learning so you don't make any minor mistake that can cause your iphone to go to shit. test phone features with ur friedns at&t sim card but most data features like mail/weather/youtube might not work til u get the edge figured out and situated when u get ur new sim.
what service do you plan on using it with? so we can help with edge settings later
