Default [1.1.2 OTB] GMAIL > Receive a copy of sent email

I have a 1.1.2 OOB fully functional except every time I send an email I get a copy of what I sent to my e-mail inbox as well. It's really annyoing. I use gmail, and I've gone into gmail's settings and disabled the option to send a copy of what I send to my inbox but it still happens. Is there an option in the iPhone or something that can stop this from happening? It's really annyoing. By the way, it shows in the sent folder, which is fine, but also in my inbox, which sucks!

    Any help?
    8GB Apple iPhone

    Firmware 1.1.3 w/ 4.6 Bootloader
    Fully unlocked.

It's a known gmail issue...go to their help pages and read all about it.

Remove your account on your iphone . Then set it up as IMAP ( you will need to change your gmail settings on the website).
