[1.1.2 OOTB](problem) iTunes 7.6, problem with custom ringtones
hey. i watched a tutorial online by which you can make your own ringtones with your own songs using garageband. you add the song, get the 30 second clip you like, export to itunes, convert to AAC, then find the file and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r. the problem i am having, since i upgraded to iTunes 7.6, the ringtones i add show up as the same one.
let's say i made one from augustana's boston right, add it to my iphone, then i make one with the song bones by the the killers, it'll show up and play on my iphone as both files being 'bones'. anyone else having this problem or am i doing something wrong?
thanks,
Jesse T.

Uh-hu... Yup.. I see where your problem's at. Its you poor taste in music. Soft/alternative pop music is only compatible with older versions of iPhones/iTunes. Get yourself some SRV, Clapton, maybe some rolling stones and some van halen and your problem should go away.

seriously. I think the problem IS on the user side. Itunes is very picky and a simple renaming mistake and it'll open whatever file IT thinks it should open, sync, etc.
