Hey Guys,

I tried jailbreaking my phone earlier because my turbo sim wasnt working and now i have a problem. when i turn my iphone on, i get the following message:

"Activate iPhone, No Sim Installed. Insert an unlocked and valid sim to activate iphone"

I cannot get past this page. can anybody PLEASE offer me some advice. I am willing to pay the first person with a solution £20 ($40) for their advice. Payment via paypal.

I need all your help to activate my phone again currently my phone is not recognizing my AT&T SIM (getting NO SIM - Insert valid unlocked SIM.....) let me explain how I got this error. I have OOB iPHONE with 1.1.2 and bootloader 4.6 that I successfully jailbreak my phone and was using as a iPOD Touch. Recently I got the X-SIM locally here (in Karachi - PAKISTAN) but the vendor was not sure the don;t know the procedure to use this so I follow the procedure provided on
(hxxp://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthr ... ight=turbo) this link provided by on-stop.com (my x-xim look similar they are selling).

but after following their procedure mmy iphone did not work so I read all the forum and found that this procedure is not valid and we need to install only iworld and choose my country, I did not same install the iworld and choose my country PAKISTAN and then remove the AT&T SIM and install my own sim into iphone but no luck ... again I dig the multiple forums and found that I need to revert back the procedure earlier I opt, so to revert back I restore my iPHONE to again 1.1.2 and then 1.1.1 fW. After this my AT&T SIM is not recognize my iPHONE.

What I figure out is before restoring the FW I must change the country because its look like my iphone still looking for turbo sim and SIM from PAKISTAN (not sure). So I want to know is there any way I can again recognize my AT&T SIM in iPHONE..

Also is there any way to reverse the TurboSIM method?

What is the firmware of the phone? did you upgrade? orrestore using itunes to adifferent firmware?

it was originally 1.1.2, i downgraded to 1.1.1, went through the jail break, then i upgraded to 1.1.2 as in the tutorial. i made the mistake of restoring back to 1.1.2, but then had to start from scrath when i realised i should have upgraded.

i have just purchased an original turbosim from ebay, so that should be here in a few days and i can try again. ive read they are so much better than the copies such as nextsim which is wat i have at the moment and cannot get working.
