1.1.2 low disk space with Installer.
Hi everyone,
i updated my iPhone to 1.1.2 and now i also have a kind of low disk space error.
When i go to the installer and try to install some apps the iphone shows me a message. "Low Diskspace, please delete photos or Videos.
iIunes and my iPhone show me 6,7GB free disc space.
What does the Message mean?
I know, there is a lowdikspaceerror with 1.1.1 and there ist a 300MB-Fix for the problem but with 1.1.2 i never heard.
Who can help me?

You only have 300 MB of space in the system directory. 1.1.2 takes way more space than 1.1.1.
Follow the instructions on the above link to symlink your applications.

Hi,
can i move the App-Folder also with WinSCP?
Should i erase the orig. Appfolder then?
I've installed OpenSSH and the BSD Subsystem on the iPhone but i don't understand the Commandlines with Terminal.
Can u explain me?
Are u shure, that works with 1.1.2?
Thx

Ok done.
I tried it with terminal.
Everything worked fine.
With WinSCP i can see, that i moved the Appfolder.
How can i see the free memory now?
Is there a command 4 terminal or do i have to wait until the message shows again?
There must be a command like "Dir" from Windows PC for Terminal ?!?
Thank you

go to Terminal either on the iPhone or SSH to the iPhone and type "df -h" without the quotes and it will show you the space available.

I found after I perform the modification mentioned above, sometimes the Installer.app cannot detect the installed applications correctly. So, I will suggest to do this before you installed any further applications.
