[1.1.2] Jailbreaking with T-Zones

im on a jailbroken 1.1.2, using tmobile. i have tzones on my tmobile account, and im tzones hack guide to help, but when i get to where it says: "after installing go to settings>>>General>>>Network>>>EDGE>>>on APN field type in wap.voicestream.com leave Username and Password blank." i get to network, but i dont see edge, can somebody please help me out. Thanks.

P.s. heres the guide im using:
1-on installer app all go to "sources"
2-click on "edit" the click "add"
3-type in iphone.surrealnetworks.com/repo
4-hit ok
5-hit refresh
6-go to install section find "surreal networks"
7-install T-Mobile T-Zones Proxy
8-re-boot your phone

Are you in the US?
turn off WIFI
dial *3001#12345#*(field test) go to PDP information. do you get an IP address and the correct APN?
If you got an IP is your email working? send yourself an email and check.
How long ago did you activate T-zones?

I have an IP address, and it said the APN was wap.voicestream.com and the email is working, and so is safari, and it has the E symbol in the top left corner next to tmobile, so does that mean that the hack is working?

cool, but i just want to make sure that im not going to get a huge bill for using edge. would it let me know if i was going to be charged for being on edge? do i have anything to worry about?

Are you located in the US?
T-zones in the US is $5.99, if you are in Europe you better check their rates.

Yes, im in the u.s., and what does the netservices app exactly let me do? why do i want to control edge?

It's a program to enable and disable network services, I only suggested the app because you are concern with EDGE charges but since you are in the US not worries t-zones is unlimited for $5.99.
Could you post your EDGE speed and city?
