I used the same method as on 1.1.1 just copied over all the language files from the iPod .dmg
(EDIT: Using the 1.1.2 iPod touch .dmg)

While all the languages are now available, it still only shows the 4 keyboards;
English, German, French, and Italian.

Anybody know how to get the other keyboards working???

It's easy in 1.1.1, but I cannot figure it out under 1.1.2
1.1.2 comes with 4 keyboards, and an Asian Font setting.

Copying all the 1.1.2 iPod touch files method does enable many languages/regions.
But, it also removes this Asian font setting, and doesn't enable any additional keyboards.

I have been trying to find the differences in the filesystem, but have struck out so far.
Anyone have any ideas, or know how the .GlobalPreferences.plist file is generated?

On 1.1.1, even if I choose English keyboard, I still get the special characters by pressing and holding 'a' and 'o'. Is this not possible on 1.1.2 if I choose English keyboard?

I am Norwegian, but I use English menus and English keyboard and it works on 1.1.1. I want to upgrade to 1.1.2 because of the (alleged) sms-bugfix on 1.1.2, but if I am no longer able to type 'ÆØÅ', I can't.
