Read on some blog that amongst all the changes made in 1.1.2 over 1.1.1, Apple also clocked the cpu at a higher speed. Can anyone confirm that? So far the best bug fix seems to be the fix for SMS with alphanumeric sender.

Yes can confirm it. CPU is a little bit higher clocked. But sorry i don't know how much because i don't have my iPhone here at the moment
It was only a little bit but animations a little bit smoother

engadget, wikipedia and many other websites mentioned that iphone is using an ARM JZF 1176 processor, which runs at a 630-667 Mhz (highest up to 700Mhz) . It also works with a 512 RAM & 128 ROM . but why does the installer app mention that the bus frequency is only 410 Mhz ? Do correct me if im wrong . If its processing speed really is 410 Mhz , how come its performance and quality is way better than other pdas which also runs at a 400Mhz speed ? Is the only difference with its OS ? or its actually not 410Mhz but a 667Mhz processor ?

i have a pld palm Viix with a 33 Mhz dragon ball processor, it can easily outrun my other pda which has an Intel Arm 520 Mhz processor

that means its actually running a 410Mhz processor, not as those wesbite mentioneed ?
its fast and smooth in every process just because of its os x ?
how come they still detects that its a 667Mhz then ?
really weird ~
