Hi all, i know that there are many threads on enableing edge but i have found out that in 1.1.2 it is differant. i have the edge settings in the settings menu and once the apn and username and password are entered they are stored in the preferances.plist
there is another set also in the preferances.plist however they are empty on my list i assume they are for visual vioce mail. Trying to find other files that cointined login details for edge/gprs i came accross the 'com.apple.carrier.plist' that again had two possible areas where these settings could go i tried to enter details in the second area but still could not connect to gprs.
Today while i was in the city center the blue gprs icon did change to the E egde icon so i am sure that the problem is that the login details (apn,etc) are not correct so i think its a case of finding the place to enter them for the connection to work as when i try i get an 'lost network connection, (NSURLE ErrorDomain:- 1005" error in safari when trying to connect with gprs/edge.
i hope someone can help as i really would like to get this working and i think there are also others in the same boat.

i have tried that i dont seem to have the operator file (02_uk.plist) and also i dont have /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support i get as far as library and i do not have the frameworks folder so i am a bit stuck.
Do i have to create the frameworks folder? if so what do i need to put into it? any help would be good at this time, thanks
