[1.1.2 (1.1.2 OTB) ][Problem] iPhone is booting as iPod!!
Greetingz every1 out there..
After a very troublesome, but finally successful H/Wunlock-experience, i was enjoying all features of this nice MobileCel-iTouch combo and exploring all 'frontiers' of its performance, mostly thru emulators and much of all software that is beein developed day by day.
So this is my problem::> After finnish uploadin' some roms to their respect directory (with iBrickr) i ran my Squid app from the SpringBoard and gave the new u/l roms the permissions and made a hard boot. Since this has been the procedure that worked 4 me till now, i really wondered when (after an unusual long boot up time) a clean black springboard appeared with an iPod sign replacin my carrier's SIM logo...
After a small panic-attack, i tried 2 put the phone in DFU mode and decidin if restore, upgrade, to wich FW and all these issues...strangely iTunes recognizes my docked iPhone with name/FW1.1.2 and all its stored data. And in iBrickr i can still see all files and bins as they were, it seemed (at least 2 me) that all files were in its place, so i proceeded 2 delete these recently u/l ROMs and some other ones, just in case 2 b a Storage-related problm.
But after a new boot(and more), my iPhone is still showing this iPod sign, nothing on the SB no functions available...
Mabe fixing some corrupted file could fix this sudden PROBLEM, please if any1 has a solution 2 get the iPhone's OS(and all its functions) working again, id b gladly thankful, i really didn't expected such a strange gap after all prior while H/W unlockin...
I've also installed that 'fix low storage space error' app, perhaps it has something 2 do, i really dont know and am a bit pissed & worried, cuz i was already kinda relayin -at least an important part of myself/my life to this gadget
THANX 2 ANY1 IN ADVANCE
(Apollogies 2 the Admins and Moderators 4 doublepostin my/this thread )
I really don't know if it has anything to do, but i've noted that sometimes "one" restore doesn't work it..., sometimes i had to do two restores in DFU mode , and just in case, another one in recovery mode..., to clean some permissions problems out
thx 4 da reply adajet51,
but it's still bootin as iPod , already tried several times with no luck...tomorrow morning i'll try on another PC and c if that helps, i'd still b glad 4 advices or tips
i'm hopin'sure that it has a relative easy fix, considering full navegability via iBrick and correct FW/name/data recognition by iTunes..
(& please help me out!)
