Question [1.1.2 (1.1.1 OTB)] Looses Signals and Sometimes No Service

I have a 1.1.1OTB iphone using 1.1.2. I soft-updated to 1.1.3 usings nate's method but didnt like it and downgraded back to 1.1.2. Majority of the time when my iphone comes out of standby it shows no bars or once in a while No Service. Why is this happening??

I don't have an answer to your question but I can tell you that you are not the only one. My phone has been doing the same thing and if you search the forums you will find that this is a widespread issue. I am yet to find anything that works. Anyone?

Mine used to have that problem too. I read from somewhere that it's known issue to Apple and it would be fix in next firmware. I didn't believe it but guess what, 1.1.3 fixed it for me! Give it a try.

Did you soft update to 1.1.3 or are you legitimately operating 1.1.3 with 04.03.13_G modem firmware?

Guys... In order to help me troubleshoot this problem can you please tell me if you are using locateme or navizon? I stumbled on a thread (see below) which made me think that it might have something to do with cell triangulation crashing the baseband.
