Default [OSX] Synchronising stalls at contacts

My 1.1.1 unlocked iPhone (AnySim) synchronisation suddenly stalls when it tries to sync with my 10.5 Mac. It stalls on syncing contacts it tells me... I tried to let it run for over an hour, also checked the "replace information on this iPhone' box in Itunes.... no success....
When I uncheck contacts syncing all together, it stalls at calenders.
When I uncheck everything under the Info tab it works fine (syncs music, movies, pictures and podcasts).
    any advice?

try restarting your iPhone and try again.

Home + Sleep/Wake. for like 6 seconds or so.

lol, its either that, or restore. unless anyone else has a solution.
    Thumbs up if i helped.

Well, can you believe it has been doing this throughout 112, 113 and 114.
In the meantime I did multiple restores and last weekend I PWND my iPhone. And yet again.. after a few syncs it stalls again. The thing that seems to help is uncheck contacts, calendars, bookmarks, email addresses. Then the sync works like a charm. If I then turn them all on again, it sometimes works.. untill a few syncs, when it will stall at contacts again.
If I only uncheck contacts... it stalls at calenders. I need to uncheck everything in the info tab.

Could it be because I am using .mac on to sync a 10.4 with a 10.5 Mac?

Am I really the only one having this problem?
