I have exactly the same problem. When I tried to to activate my iphone (and I used the new simple way) the iPhone frooze when it tried to connect to my wireless network. Now the iPhone won't start after I see the globe. The phone just freeze and after 10 min it restarts.

Thumbs up I think i had same problem as you

I don't know if this would help....but I had the same problem as you....I couldn't get my phone to do anything when i first tried to downgrade it.

    I am using a mac 7.6 itunes and a week 52 1.1.2 iphone....

I tried to downgrade to 1.0.2 and it stopped working or doing anything....

    try this...

hold home and top button for 5 sec...plug into usb and then hold for 10 15 sec...should come up as retore on itunes...

then you don't restore 1.0.2 restore using 1.1.1 and you should be fine...I was...

you must have itunes 7.5 (not 7.6)
put it in DFU mode (previous page) and then the screen will go dark with some streaks on it. then u should be able to do a normal restore. this happened to me as well where the apple logo is stuck.
