[1.1.1] Major Problem Meaning Apple Message!

I have run into a major problem here with my iphone, I upgraded yesterday with true nates softupdate release and noticed today that dev team made an official release jailbreaking 1.1.3, So I decided downgrading back to 1.1.1 then from there to 1.1.2 to use the Dev Team release (I used this method > http://www.hackthatphone.com/113/iph...grade_113.html), I got to the bit where you use terminal on the iPhone to change the baseband name but I got an error at the end but I saw in the tutorial it said "Note: should this process fail, you can also try restoring to 1.0.2 firmware and repeating the baseband downgrade process again., So I tried that but iTunes wouldn't restore to 1.0.2, There I thought damnit I'm gonna have to use the original 1.1.2 jailbreak (btw I'm on the O2UK iPhone) to get back to 1.1.2 then use the dev teams release.
So then I found the 1.1.2 UK JailBbreak (http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15849), Got to the bit where you use independence to kick it out of recovery mode and then start jailbreak using the start hash bla bla stuff, There I noticed that thew keypad typing response was MEGA slow, like a minute delay on each number, even the call button wouldn't work. I then rebooted the iPhone to see if this would fix the problem, Still the same typing problem but this time the Repair Needed message came up.
I have no idea what has happened but suspect maybe it has something to do with bootloaders etc etc, I'd gladly appreciate it if someone could help me out here.

---------------------
Have tried restoring to 1.1.2 in DFU mode & restore mode but when I get to the iTunes connect screen and try to boot it out recovery mode with independence it says baseband info not found, then itunes opens and says the following message..

Please can someone point me in the right direction..would greatly appreciate it

restore to 1.1.2, then run the virginizer pack from i.unlock.no (source in installer), and then update to 1.1.1 and all will be well
