There are zillion posts around here NOT to use ZiPhone. It causes tons of problems. From no wifi, bluetooth till fubar. Please read before taking action.

So, then, what would happen if I wanted to go to an older (or yet to be released) firmware by restoring and ziphoning again? Would my baseband be downgraded or upgraded to match the firmware I am installing? Can I go back if I decide to? (So far the 1.1.4 is working fine, but I am curious anyway.)

My phone seems to be OK, with wifi working. But I don't use bluetooth, so I wouldn't know if I broke it. What would you suggest if I want to restore or upgrade firmware again? What special considerations should I have for switching methods next time due to the history of my iphone, considering hardware unlock, and then ziPhone had been used?

You'll find the answer here: Some iPhone Internals Info... . And BTW, almost every single question has been answered here. Just use the search function and you'll find whatever you want.
