    Default [1.0.2 OTB] upgrade firmware without re-locking ?

    hi all
    is it possible to soft upgrade to 1.1.3 from 1.0.2 without relocking your phone? i'm currently running on 1.o.2 and i want to upgrade to FW 1.1.3 without having to unlock my phone all over again.

    soft upgrade .... I don't know.
    Why soft upgrade ??
    you should do a regular update to 1.1.3 rather than soft.
    fw upgrade will change OS version + baseband version. Because of baseband change you will need to unlock again.
    since you have and running 1.0.2 unlocked, it is most likely you need to re-virgin your baseband before upgrade.

    maybe he should try restoring to 1.1.3 and then use ziphone to jailbreak then run any sim 1.1.3. If your going to try remember to restore not update to 1.1.3

    just sync your iphone and then restore. simple reason why, update/restore = 7 mins and ziphone = 4mins so total time taken is 11mins
    soft upgrade =15-30 mins
    so just restore to 1.1.4 and use ziphone afterwards
