    1) Wireless Sync with iTunes, even if only when docked.
    2) Bluetooth file transfer application.
    3) System wide Video out (display mirroring, similar to what Steve had at MW 07)
    4) An RSS reader that actually works
    5) A download plugin in safari from mobile finder that will allow you to download any unrecognized file, perhaps even a bookmarklet that allows one to download all the recognized files (doc, pdf, mp3)

Oh, wait, I got it, I want someone to write an app that takes all the work out of tethering. As of right now, you need to deal with SOCKS and all that, It would be awesome if it was one click and the iPhone became an AP (even if only single client).

some great suggestions so far, i'd say the top are:

    Wireless Sync
    Wireless Tethering
    Horizontal Texting
A playable PSX or N64 emulator
    Copy and Paste

A racing game that uses the iphone like a steering wheel!

Eeh...emulators are so overrated. Beyond NES, and maybe even GBA, the systems become too powerful for efficient emulation on a mobile platform. If these devs would instead concentrate on a really good 3D FPS for the iPhone, then I'd be impressed.

Well, something il would like to haveon the iphone:

-Tranfering images via bluetooth with iphone or non iphone users.
-A more stable msn messenger, that really run on the background. Apollo crashes a lot, and disconnect a lot when recioeving a call or going to another app in the phone, when its suppose to run in the background.
-A minigolf game, something like the minigolf that came with the older sony ericcson games where you could play with other iphone users.

hmm dont know anything else right now....

Forgot something realy important, enable your iphone to be used as a hard drive, thats it

Here is my list in no particular order

    • bluetooth to exchange contacts with vcard support
    • bluetooth to send pictures and receive pictures
    • copy / paste
    • vertical text messaging
    • visualizations for the mp3 player (geiss would be awesome with tv out)
    • some kind of appletv functionalities (e.g. the slideshow feature of it with tv out, or why not turn the iphone into a small, mobile version of appletv )
    • wide media support (divx, ogg, etc)
    • google earth (yeah maps is nice - but rotating the globe with your fingers would be awesome)
    • quake2
    • adobe flash plugin for safari
    • native chinese input that lets you paint the strokes with your fingers
