I tried to install it with ibrickr and installer but the the application doesn't start for me...just a blank screen and it then jumps to the springboard again.

    Two questions:

    1) Are there any plans for porting a spanish dictionary? (not translation)
    2) How does one use the pronounce button?

    Thanks

i believe you install it, reboot, and then go forth to install the dictionary supplements in order to use it.

    download dictionaries:
    http://stardict.sourceforge.net/Dictionaries.php

The dictionaries need to be installed to /private/var/root/Library/weDict

After downloading a dictionary, extract. Then rename *.dict.dz to *.dict.gz, extract.

Copy *.dict and *.idx to /private/var/root/Library/weDict

    Done!

regarding the TTS, which file should I download, the RPM or the BZ2? (im on winxp) I guess in there are all language voices, can I select which ones I want? otherwise they would not fit in the phone!

What about a French to English dictionary? Also, how do you toggle between different dictionaries loaded on the iPhone? Thanks...

WeDict can be easily downloaded from apptapp...
and the dictionaries are found there as well...
much easier then transferring them from your PC...
