    Wink Use Fring/TruPhone over 3G/EDGE !!

    Want to use Fring/TruPhone over EDGE/3G ?
    Just follow 5 simple steps... NOTE: For Jailbroken Devices only.

    1. Open Cydia
    2. Goto Sections --> System
    3. Select VoIPover3G package
    4. Download it...
    5. You're done !!

    Now just open Fring/TruPhone and make calls over your data connection (GPRS/EDGE/3G).

    Thats no problem at all. You have a link in your signature to your site. It's good to have additional sources of information like your. Just wanted to avoid to just have them external. it is a give-and-get-thing here as you know.

    I have installed it but i still can't use itunes or truphone on 3G, both say i need a wifi connection.

    any ideas?

    Worked for me. Try a Re-install and then Reboot your iPhone.

    I've yet to get this to work, even after re-installing. I'm speculating that AT&T blocks the ports necessary for some applications.

    For those who have this working successfully, who is your carrier?
