Default Uninstall the multi-page springboard in 1.1.2?

Up until tonight I had an iPhone that looked stock (just as I wanted it) but since I've moved up to 1.1.2 I'm stuck with this damn hacked springboard, which refuses to hide installer.app. How the heck do I get rid of it?

I tried installing customise, but it doesn't allow apps to be hidden for some daft reason.

How would I go about editing M68AP.plist in such a way that would get installer.app et al off my springboard, as well as those damn annoying dots? Or better still return to the unhacked springboard? Anyone got a backup anywhere?

    Cheers

So it turns out that the new conceited software jailbreak kindly doesn't make a backup of the original springboard as the springpatch application is supposed to do. How nice of them. Can anyone give me an unpatched copy of springboard from 1.1.2? It would be extremely useful.

In the end I found the decryption method for the new firmware dmg and got the springboard binary and the plist from there. Here's hoping a new iNdependence comes out with this activation method, sans the bloody springboard patch.

    Hi

What i liked in 1.0.2 was that Summerboard scrolled vertically, not horizontally. I guess the springboard patch kills that feature. I have summerboard, but it only allows me to step right and left.

    Any ways to change that?

    Thanks

    Ben

You at luck, with 1.0.2 I had no trouble scrolling vertically. Now with 1.1.1 and it seems with 1.1.2 also, you can only scroll horizontally as the springboard seems to be patched by default as a side-effect of the Jailbreaking. Of course its not a negative effect, if was implemented for people who doesnt use Summerboard, but I am, and I would still like to scroll down my desktop like I do in Contacts, etc.

    Thanks for any help,
    Ben

Patch has nothing to do with scrolling. Scrolling is built in Springboard 1.1.1/1.1.2. Patch just allows third party applications to show on the Springboard.

Apple built the 111+ springboards to scroll horizontally.

The latest customize allows you to hide icons again.

How did you patch your 1.1.2 springboard with multi-page hack?
