    Disables WiFi and re-establishes the connection...

    Hi,

    I'm terribly sorry for the unexpected repo-downtime some of you may have experienced!
    Yesterday I switched my static repo index to a fully dynamic generated one (to remove some maintainance work from my shoulders) - obviously the generator had a bug that redirected some AppTapp versions instead of sending the package data.. I fixed this and everything should be fine now.

    Current poll status is 87.50% YES - so it looks like there will be a iTether app.
    But I'm currently on the way to move my iPhone packages over to cydia and all other tasks are on hold until the transition is complete.

    Cheers Shirk

    Default sxrelay

    Hello, i was very pi**ed off trying to tether my iphone till i came across your patch. Thanks a lot for the work!

    It work great most of the time but ive noticed that when i have a bad signal and ping goes up to 3900.231+ i have to refresh the site im trying to access several times.
    its not that its going slow..
    it seams as though the timeout to resolve the DNS request is lower than the timeout for ping/edge...

    is it possible to either get the dns server (on the iphone) to try several times or to raise the timeout?

    thanks for your time man and GREAT WORK!

    (im using xsrelay right now)

    I keep getting this error:

    Safari can’t open the page “[snip]”. The error was: “unknown error” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1) Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

    I have to hold the enter key down in safari until the spinner has enough momentum that I can let go It's actually quite annoying, and I get it with nearly all pages. A fix would be great!

    I'm sorry but I don't think this is directly related to xsrelay..
    Did you setup your network to use the correct proxy?

    Think so.

    iPhone = 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 (no router/DNS specified)
    Macbook = 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0 (no router/DNS specified)

    Set SOCKS proxy to 192.168.1.1:1080

    Oh my god Shirk, thank you so much for this. I've been trying to get tethering to work for a while now, but all of the guides online were outdated. XSRelay seemed to be the missing link for me. I really appreciate your hard work on it!
