Default [Taskbar Notifier] Email icon stuck in bar

What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. Install the TaskBar Notifier via Installer
    2. Load up your email and await a new email
    3. Turn off account and the envelope icon is STILL present

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The icon SHOULD go away - I have no new email

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
    9.6-1 - 1.1.4

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried removing the application, installing it back on, then re-spring.
I have tried removing it, re-spring, reinstall, re-spring.
I have tried removing it, re-spring, shut down, power on, install, re-spring
I have tried removing it, re-spring, shut down, power on, turn OFF email accounts, reinstall, re-spring

All of these turn the same issue - the icon for email STILL stays in my taskbar. I do not want to erase my iPhone via a restore. Please give me other options. Is there a permissions I need to SSH into and reset?

    Here are the facts:
    - Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE

I had this same problem. I don't remember the specifics as to why it happened (somthing to do with the database or somthing) In any case I know how you can fix it.

1.) Reactivate, or setup the email account you've deleted or deactivated.

2.) Mark all emails in that account as read. This should reset the database to have no new read emails. The envelope should disappear.

3.) Do this for all email accounts that might have been configured on the phone...

do you have isms installed? I remeber when i had isms installed, when I received an sms message I would get the e-mail icon in taskbar, and It wouldnt go away until I go into isms and open the inbox there, I beleive it shares something with the mail.app

    Look for the program: iReadMail.

I had this happen once, I had a hidden account (through BossPrefs) that got deleted, long story...

Anyways I think that is the name of the program, download it, and select Mark All Read.

Also, Chrominium theme replacement has had a weird effect on this for me, I uninstalled Taskbar Notifier, and that Taskbar Notifier Extras install (I forget this name also). Afterwards, I reinstalled Chrominium.

Let me know if the first part of this fixes it and if you use Chrominium.
