Default [TapDial Release][2.0]Puts contacts om ur springboard

I updated cydia today and found TapDial.
Its is a springdail replacement which works on 2.0.

Now here is the problem with this app.
when it opens u get two fields - NAME and NUMBER. U have to manually add the number (for international "+" is not available so use "00")

after filling in the 2 fields hit set and then the home button.you will now find a new green icon which is the contact. (only the first name appears the last name does not)

to change the pic from the green icon just ssh into the iphone and navigate to /Application/CONTACT NAME.app and past a 60X60 pixel .png of the person

to delete a spring contact just delete the CONTACT NAME.app file using ssh

this is just a work in progress

PS im not the developer just some guy who loved springdial

    @lordofdaflies

since you love this app, i hope you can help me! i installed tapdial today too, but then uninstalled it again, cuz i didnt really get along with it, but now when i press the phone button at the bottom, it keeps closing it, i cant access my favorites anymore or dial a number. all i can do is go to my contacs, choose a contact and phone him from there, but then i cant see the numbers or like the speaker and the button to end the call anymore. all i can see is my homescreen and at the top is a lil green field that said to press there to redial.
i did restart the phone already a cupple times, but its still not working.
oh i did have a digital blue keyboard, but i uninstalled thatone too, could it be from that? i did restart the phone after uninstalling that blue keyboard too.

how do i get my favorites back and like the dial stuff and the end call button

i hope you can help me!!

    wow thats weird
i suggest you start a new thread based on this problem......
i think your problem is with the keyboard and not tapdial.......

i would try this though ...... install boss prefs and hit "more" and try to fix permissions.

Restoreing is also an option but nobady really likes that

i did try it with bossPrefs, and then hit more and fix user dir premissions. but im not sure if this is doing anything.. after i klick it a lil window pops up, then i klick fix premissions, and it just closes thats it.. so im not sure if its doing anything..

is there something else i could to? if i reset my phone, i wont have anything right, even if i make a back up, ill have the same problem again?

rm -r does a recursive remove of the contents of the directory, and then the directory. this is what you are after.
