Does the sms sync also sync to the root folder?
So do we have to symlink sms folder too?

I used the script that was updated to fix this and I got ANOTHER ERROR!

I ran the syncfix.sh and my iphone now syncs in itunes no problem - great I thought.

I just decided to a hard restart (as in hold down power + home until the apple logo comes up) and the apple logo flashed up twice before the phone went into restore mode!

I was able to get it to boot successfully using independence and it is fine if I simply power it on and off but I would appreciate some idea as to why it did that?

I tried it twice and I got the same result - although I don't intend to "hard restart" the phone under normal conditions it does seem odd that such a problem would occur.

It would be great if there was an easy fix for this!

Right now I can't help but consider going back to 1.1.2 because the DevTeam JB was perfect for that with no issues!

anyone has the same weird behavior?

when opening a contact the following screen jumps to the original position no matter what...

and in the full contact list the list is very unresponisve and i can't edit a contact, once the change is done (very sluggish), the contact list crashes and i end up in the main screen... like something is going on but osX can't find it or something...

so this workaround is a poor fix for the problem... it's better than not having your contact with you, but to not be able to edit contacts just plain sucks...

Good news for me - running syncfix.sh worked for me. I'd used the modmyifone version of the dev team update via installer and it worked great. Except I was having sync problems. Took a bit but I taught myself what I needed to know to run syncfix and *knock on wood* it seems to work now.

Sorry you're having the problems you're describing but thus far I am not. FWIW I was unlocked 1.1.2/3.9 (originally updated from 1.1.1) and am now 1.1.3 unlocked, TMobile.

i honestly still dont understand what is sooooo special about this 1.1.3 fw that makes people go through all kinds of trouble to get it working? no new features and even the contacts dont work properly.

i ream somewhere on here that Elite team said this jailbreak is a hybrid and in their own words its a "Peice of Shit . Dont use it!"...........but keep getting all kinds of problems with this crappy update +jailbreak

When they say Hybrid 1.1.3 are they referring to the fact that this doesn't upgrade the baseband? Cause if that's the case, I'm not running hybrid, I updated to 1.1.3 (to update my baseband to 4.03) then downgraded to 1.1.1, jailbroke, and climbed the ladder all the way back to 1.1.3 (while retaining BB v4.03.13). I know I'm not the only one to do this (I followed a guide and just replaced the step that used Nate's method with the Dev Team's method), but does this mean I'm not running a hybrid 1.1.3? Or does that refer to something completely different?
