SummerBoard 3.2 will solve the 70 app limit; just install it, and you will not have that problem anymore. You are still limited by the 9 SpringBoard limit (including apps and webclips), but you will no longer get the spinning wheel once you reach 70 apps if you install SummerBoard 3.2. See Here for more info: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthre...ighlight=limit .

will summerboard 3.0 fix this too? I'm on 1.1.2 and 3.2 on the installer requires 1.1.3+

baro, I believe that it does not. However, you can try it yourself. Once you reach about 70 apps - it may be a few more than that - you will see the spinning wheel if it does not work. In order to get rid of the spinning wheel, you can SSH into your phone with WinSCP and delete one of the folders under /Applications. Once you delete enough apps folders, the phone will return to normal. You will still need to uninstall the app(s) in Installer to uninstall completely the apps that you deleted manually. If 3.0 doesn't work, it seems like you may have to upgrade to 1.1.3.

thank you vandy1997; I've been fighting with the spinning wheel from a long time and winscp saved my a** a lot of times
lately when I want to try out a new app I first unistall something I do not use very often.... now I'm gonna see if summerboard 3.0 works as well. I'll post about the results (if anyone still cares about 1.1.2 troubles )

baro, best of luck. At this point, most people are looking toward firmware version 2.0, so 1.1.2 is nto used by most. But share your experiences because some people probably still use 1.1.2. The spinning wheel will definitely disappear if it is appearing due to the fact that you have too many app folders under /Applications. Please note that this method will not fix all spinning wheels - it depends upon what caused the spinning wheel to appear. I figured out this method after restoring my phone a few times once it reached about 70 apps. Let us know if it works with SummerBoard 3.0. If not, you will have to use SummerBoard 3.2 (and the Categories app can help you to put more apps on the SpringBoard). Good luck!
