This worked for me, although it did have the consequence of messing up some of the other timestamps, such as emails and my outgoing sms messages. So it basically fixed all the wrong times and made the right times wrong, however, going forward from this point it should all be fine.

Yes. ... majority of your sms's should either be early by the same amount of hours or delayed by the same amount of hours... tell me which one it is.. I get different times as well.. but most of them will have the same amount of delay... what is that delay?

    Worked for me Lighter, THNX

EDIT: I found a problem with mine. I changed the city and the SMS timestamp worked, but I soon realized that the change messed up the times for my calendar. I have a tons of important schedules that are time specific that I need more importantly than the SMS time.
Therefore I had to change the city back to Toronto. I can live with the time being off for now.

    Wont install. I'm on 1.1.4

I also tried setting Time Zone to "Rabat, Moroco" AND Calendar Time Zone to MY city whilst turning ON Calendar Time Zone Support. That fixed my SMS time AND my Calendar times, but then my Mail.app went crazy, showing all wrong times.

WTF? What's going on with SMS not listening to the TimeZone setting? I should be able to select my city and have all the times sys-wide displayed correctly! What's going on? Can someone enlighten me?

    ----

    Any other sugg.?

    TIA

    Hi ,

I faced the smae prob when i upgraded to 1.1.4 because by default it was taking Cupertino time.
What i did was go to settings->general->date & time. Set "Set automatically" to off. Then select ur timezone and set correct date & time using "Set Date & Time" option. Also set the same for Calendar option below Date & Time. This solved the issue for me.
    hope this helps.

The only thing that worked... (so far...)

How to Fix the iPhone Incorrect Timestamp Issue on 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 firmware
    - Launch Installer. Click on Sources. Click Edit. Click Add.
    - Type in http://www.iphones.ru/r …click OK. Refresh Sources.
    - Click on the Install tab. Go to the category iPhone.RU.
    - Install the SMS Timefix (the description is not in English, but it will work!
