    Code:
    scp root@1.2.3.4:/var/root/Library/SMS/sms.db sms.db
    sqlite3 sms.db "CREATE TRIGGER hack_svc_center AFTER INSERT ON message BEGIN UPDATE message SET svc_center=NULL WHERE ROWID=new.ROWID; END;"
    scp sms.db root@1.2.3.4:/var/root/Library/SMS/sms.db
    Hope this can also help others with this problem. I'd only suggest this when you cannot reply to some people, and after confirming messages from those people have an svc_center set in sms.db
    I tried 2 programs which edit SQLite databases but when i enter

    CREATE TRIGGER hack_svc_center AFTER INSERT ON message BEGIN UPDATE message SET svc_center=NULL WHERE ROWID=new.ROWID; END;

    they give me always sintax error

    Any idea?

    Im trying now with RazorSQL available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

    OK DONE and it seems to work. All italian users who have problems:

    1-Set the message center as described here, also with +39.
    Es for Italian Wind *5005*7672*+393205858500#
    sometimes it gives an error try more times, i suggest to create a contact in address book.

    2-Download SMS.db to a folder and run from OS X terminal this string as suggested:
    sqlite3 sms.db "CREATE TRIGGER hack_svc_center AFTER INSERT ON message BEGIN UPDATE message SET svc_center=NULL WHERE ROWID=new.ROWID; END;"

    If you still have problems, you probably have an already damaged SMS.db. If this is the case, delete it, open SMS application, iPhone will create a new one, download it and work on it.

    Default error fix (worked for more than just me) ..Switzerland -> carrier:swisscom

    this error happend to me as well, ...i could not send sms for the last 6 hours but now it works!

    im using "next sim2" ...by the way "next sim3" does not exist
    the number on the end indicates the version it is made for: for ex next sim2 for 1.1.2, since 1.1.3 has not been cracked yet, there is NO next sim3!!!

    i sent an sms to a number with wich i did NOT have a conversation yet (businessphone) ... is sent fine and from that point on it everything else worked fine as well!

    ...by the way, this is not the first time this has happened to me BUT this solution worked already before!!!!!

    again: SEND sms to a number with which you do NOT have a conversation YET!!!

    cheers everbody

    I've seen this before when the sequence id number (SEQ) has messed up the SQLITE_SEQUENCE table in your sms.db file. I had this problem once where it's trying to save a record in the message table with the same id number of a message already in there.

    1) To fix it I downloaded the sms.db with iBrickr.
    2) Open it with SQLlite
    3) Add 1 to the value in SEQ
    Note: Alternatively find the largest ROWID number in the message table and then set your sequence number to that + 1
    4) Save the sms.db file
    5) Re-upload using iBrickr

    You can find more information for performing these steps in my guide:

    Hi rjshearman, I'M Italian and sometimes i have this problem of no SMS sending!I'd like to follow your way but I don't Understand this step:

    3) Add 1 to the value in SEQ
    Note: Alternatively find the largest ROWID number in the message table and then set your sequence number to that + 1

    I use PC non mac,I've downloaded SQL lite admin opened the sms.db file (i use Iphone browser to expore the Iphone files).. when have I to insert 1 to the value?
    When I enter the sms.db in the software and follow your instruction (SMS/Tables/SqliteDatabaseProperties/value) I see 2 rows with the description
    key / value :
    _ClientVersion 2
    _uniqueIdentifier C75EFF2C etc.etc.

    I have to add 1 where I actually have 2??? or in the other boxes?
    I'd like to fix this problem forever...in Italian Forums lots of boys have this trouble and we're looking for the final solution
    p.s. Have I to restore the SMS center by insert the *5005*7672*+393205858500# before or not?
    Thank you in advance

    Lightbulb

    Having the same problem here in good old Germany. Helped myself initially by resetting the SMSC Number in an "old" phone. Now I'm using this method:
    1. New Contact
    Name = (i.e.) T-Mobile
    First = SMS Center
    2. New Number = *#5005*7672# (VIEW SMSC settings)
    3. save
    4. New Number = **5005*7672*SMSCNUMBER# (Send SMSC Number)
    - i.e. T-mobile SMSC Nummer +491710766000 (always with country code!)
    5. Save Contact
    6. Dial the number in step 2 to see what you have. If not correct, dial the number you inserted in step 4.

    Maybe someone could write a little APP for this? The idea would be to take the SMSC Database, user selects his provider & country and the DB is generated.

    Interestingly, I have this problem but only when roaming. When on my local network (Peoples - Hong Kong) everything works perfectly. When in the US, roaming on AT&T works but T-Mobile does NOT work. In other countries, outgoing sms always fails no matter which network I choose. My iPhone is running 1.1.2 with appsupport patched for caller id.
