Default SendSong serious problem with Mail App

    Hey there,
Ive unlocked my iPhone a little more than a month ago and it worked perfectly until few days ago, when I installed SendSong app from the installer which was supposed to send songs from your iPhone through the email.
Well, I picked a song, typed the receivers email and pressed send, and my Mail.app totally froze... So I waited for about two minutes or so... Then reset my phone. Booted fine, but if I tapped on the Mail App in the dock, I get the blank white screen with messages button top left, compose and refresh icons at the bottom corners, but totally frozen. Basicaly my iPhone hangs right there and nothing works. I tried deleting all email accounts but wouldn't help.
I'm currently away from my computer in Nyc, so I can't restore anything, so while I'm in Paris I can't use my Mail app... Unless...unless one of you iphone gurus help me out with the solution.
Not sure if that's a common problem, but any help is highly appreciated here :$

If you have mobile terminal, try first renaming the /var/root/Mail to Mail.bak:

    mv /var/root/Mail /var/root/Mail.bak

and try running the mail app again. I would hope the mail app will redo all the subdirectories again... in any case, you do not have anything to lose.

    plus,

    Gusano.

Thanks for the help. I tried it but it gives me error "cant stat-no such file or directory"
Did i have to do something else before typing that line? Perhaps another line?

    Thanks

I see, maybe that was too extreme. First, erase all accounts (I think you already did this) and then create an empty directory Mail.

    mkdir /var/root/Library/Mail

check that permits and owners are the same than the directory Mail.bak that you should still have there.

    Bonne chance,

    Gusano.
