You can chose the directory but only in "Individual Mode".

So, if I made a restore in iphone, for backup everything is better individual backup and individual restore?
And if I only want restore sms, how I do?
    With standard restore?

    Still doesnt work for me.
Tried to delete key pair files on comp.
After setup again it just gets stuck at RSA comm. again and relaunch terminal.app
    Then it timeouts and fails

    This is with 2.1 version

Version 2.1 works for me, where previous versions didn't. It now runs under Tiger, and doesn't display the lastip error anymore. Nice!

I have the same RSA problem. It says "Checking RSA key" and opens a terminal window; I type "yes", I typed the root password the first time, and in the terminal I get the message
    ##### The following Applications list from your iPhone should show *without* asking for the password!
followed by the list of applications on my iPhone (it's the actual list, so there obviously is communication going on). Then I'm asked to quit Terminal and click "OK", after which it says "Checking RSA key" again and opens a terminal window again, and the same thing happens. Goes on like this forever (I have to Force Quit it). Leopard on Intel, iBaReS v 2.1, iPhone on 1.1.2.

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

Anyone who seems to be having the continuous RSA loop, is it because you are doing the individual backup?

I had that problem but then did the standard backup which worked fine and got past the RSA problem. Then I tried the individual backup and it worked fine. Try exiting the app and restarting as well.

Doing the standard backup first seemed to make the individual backup work for me.

BTW, it's a great app. I was updating from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 and had 50+ apps. Didn't want to install them all again so when I got this working I was well happy! Restored EVERYTHING back to how it was. It's great!
