You're essentially asking us if you can jailbreak your phone without jailbreaking it.

If it were that easy, then why would the dev team spend weeks coming up with new tools to jailbreak?

The answer is no, you can't. Apps that are dragged into iTunes need to have a valid certificate unless you hacked your phone to allow pirated apps. If you drag cydia in, then it will appear in the Apps listing just fine, but when you try to sync your phone an error will pop up.

If that was possible dev team would've just released cydia and installer without a jailbreaking tool,so NO! that's not possible, and i wouldn't advice trying it,why don't you want to jailbreak your iPhone anyway ?

I just cannot understand how on earth jailbreaking would create a problem ! in the worst case you would have to do a restore in itunes. Jeez.

AM bumping this thread again , and I HATE IT.

Some people are just too protective, please don't make fun of un-experienced members...
Anyway, let's end this thread cause it's taking more time and nerves than it deserves.
The answer to your question would be NO!
I would STRONGLY recommend to Jailbreak your iPhone if you want to enjoy all it's features.
If you insist on not Jailbreaking it,then the 2 to blame would 1st be Apple for making it that hard to install Apps on it
and yourself for not snapping the chance and downloading the BEST Jailbreaking tool which happens to be for FREE

    Hope i helped...
