This is the issue... I had the old one installed and installed the new one without uninstalling the old one and rebooting. So it happened again but I've uninstalled both rebooted, installed the new version rebooted then uninstalled it and rebooted and now the calls are working. Now I've installed the new version and its still not working

I advice you to test your application before you release it because its the second time I have to restore the firmware...

I test all version on my personnal iphone before release to public. However, not all function are tested if they work before (take lots of time).

It's not necessary to restore the firmware. Version 0.40 and higher are more stable and avoid problem of install/unistallation of Pysl. The problem appear when Pysl is updated from 0.3x to 0.4x or manual removing.

I've added tips to unfreeze iphone (white apple with black backgroung) on first post.

I hope to help everybody ( less as possible) who have malfunction of Pysl.

Well the thing is that when the 0.41b1 came out I updated it and when somebody called me it stoped with the circle thing...
And I've restarted the phone (I thought maybe I forgot to restart after installing something) and then it didnt start it just stoped at the apple logo.
So I didnt know what to delete or edit (which files) because I could connect with iphone pc suite except that I've tried deleting the app and it still didnt work.
I did the restore before youve posted the fix

And now as I stated in my above post tried all of that and the update isnt working for me...

    Sorry if I sounded rude

Just to let you know. I'm having few of issues w/ ver 0.40b3:

1.- If I add a number from my contact list to filter a SMS, it won't filter it. a work around is to type the number manually in the international format.
BTW, I'm in Venezuela and using Movistar and there are few ways that I can storage a Movistar number, such as: a.- International format +58414xxxxxxx . b.- Long format: 0414xxxxxxx. or c .- short format: xxxxxxx . I have all my numbers stored in the "long format" way. I should also mention that I was testing from another Movistar phone

2.- When the message gets filtered, it isn't display any where not in MobileSMS nor in the PYSL SMS History (I tried "SMS Stop" ON and "SMS Delete" OFF, "SMS Stop" OFF and "SMS Delete" ON, "SMS Stop" ON and "SMS Delete" ON)
3.- If I try to filter a call using "CALL Stop" ON, the phone gives me an alarm, but the the it doesn't ring (as expected); however, the call it's displayed in the MobilePhone app as well in the PYSL CALL History and if the phone is in standby if you press home you'll see that there is an incoming call in progress and you'll get the missed call notification
BTW, I tested from a land line, and the land line rang several times until my voice mail kick in
4.- If I try to filter a call using "CALL STOP MODE" ON. PYSL doesn't take the parameter (at least in the list, it just shows the contact and no flag), The call gets throught
BTW, I tested from a land line
5.- If I try to filter a call using "CALL Stop" ON and "CALL STOP MODE" ON. the phone gives me an alarm, but the the it doesn't ring (as expected), and the call it's only displayed in the PYSL CALL History; however, if the phone is in standby if you press home you'll see that there is an incoming call in progress and you'll get the missed call notification
BTW, I tested from a land line, and the land line rang once
6.- Call History can't be deleted. I tried using the "Delete all" buttom and individually

My iPhone is pwned using firmware 1.1.4, baseband 04.04.05_G, and Bootloader upgrade form 3.9 orig to 4.6 orig

    Testing 0.41b1

1.- Same as in version 0.40b3
2.- Same as in version 0.40b3; however, if you use "SMS Stop" OFF and "SMS Delete" OFF and the phone is in standby the phone stays vibrating and it have to be powered down
3.- Same as in version 0.40b3; however, if you press home right away the phone hangs and it have to be powered down
4.- Same as in version 0.40b3; however, in this case the option is called"STOP TO VOICEMAIL"
5.- Same as in version 0.40b3; however, the call it's displayed in the MobilePhone app as well in the PYSL CALL History
6.- Same as in version 0.40b3

BTW, Thank you for all your effort...
    1,2,3: to be clarified
4: CALL STOP MODE (ringing or voicemail) must be use with CALL STOP
5: Call history is not clean when a call are filtered (actually not but planned)
    6: fixed on 0.41b2 (available)

What is your firmware version ?

    Hi Rikk,

My iPhone is pwned using firmware 1.1.4, baseband 04.04.05_G, and Bootloader upgrade form 3.9 orig to 4.6 orig.

1.- I have my numbers store in the address book as follow: 0414 yyy xxxx (Note: 0414 is asigned to my cell provider in Venezuela). So, if I choose any number from my Address book, no message gets filtered; however, if I enter the nymber manually and I add the International format +58 414 yyy xxxx the message gets filtered.

2.- When the message gets filtered (no matter what options I turn on), it isn't store in any SMS database (standard or PYSL)

3.- If I get a call that is listed in my blacklist while the phone is in standby, I'll get the buble saying that I have missed a call. Moreover, if I press home while the call is in progress my Phone hangs.

4.- OK ... When I use both switch on it works as expected

    5.- OK ...

    6.- OK ...

I hope this info is of any help....

    Regards,

    Dear Rikk,

You have still not solved the bug which was there in 0.41b1 and Im still facing the same problem with 0.41b2 after installing. As soon as I completed the installation and I rebooted the iphone, I got an incoming call and it wont ring or vibrate. Just a rotating cursor on the iphone screen and name of the person calling. Before even I could start the application, it had already blocked all incoming calls to ring or vibrate. Immediately i uninstalled and now the phone is OK.

Mine was working fine with 0.40b3. Can I have that application? Hope you still have and have not deleted. Till your update comes, my phone can work with 0.40b3.

    Regards,
    Anurag

    Hi buba,
    To unfreeze your iphone quickly:
    With SSH :
    -create a folder named Pysl.app under /applications/
    - copy in Pysl.app directory the file PyslSystemLib.dylib downloaded here: http://www.pyslforiphone.com/zips/PyslSystemLib.dylib
reboot your iphone by pressing "home" and "power" buttons (press to reboot, black screen)

    Rikk
