Unhappy [Problem] SSH & WinSCP: Connection Refused

    Hi all,

This is my first post and I have to say that I would have been impossible to unlock/jb/activate my iPhone without your help. Thanks a lot for the efforts!!

This is an issue related to the error I get when trying to connect to the iphone with WinSCP (I get the refused connection error)

I could establish a SCP connection before installing those applications:

    TodoList2
    Search
    PocketMoney
    SMBprefs
    Categories
    Customize
    iSolitaire
    weDict
    Sketches
    TextEdit
    LockBox
    HWInfo
    Contacts
    AddAllSources
I also synched my contacts with yahoo and moved ringtones and applications with BossTool

Now, I can't. I know it's weird, none of them seems to modify OpenSSH...

    Some solutions I've tried:
    - Install Services and check that SSH is on,
    - Using launchctl load and unload the com.openssh.sshd plist. (with and without -w and after restart)
    - Disable Windows firewall (just in case some of you mention it)
    - This solution http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...ion+refused%22
    - Using Loelink http://www.loelink.com/

So far no way to login... Anyone can help? Is there any chance for this to be caused by some application of the list? Apart from that I've done nothing else, so it should be something simple that I cannot see.

I've already searched the forums in depth, so please have a look because you might be able to help me and so many others in my situation!!

I also tried to find a solution looking in another forums/tutorials:
    - http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/sho...?t=9480&page=3
    - And some others

    My "specs":
    iPhone 1.1.3
    Modem firmware 04.03.13_G
    Bootloader 3.9
    I'm using Windows

Thanks a lot for your help!!! I hope we can find a solution

Did you upgrade or restore the iPhone to 1.1.3?; ZiPhone unlock?
In any case, I think the best way to get SSH back a fresh restore to 1.1.3. I'm sorry about that.
Sync on iTunes, DFU mode, restore it to 1.1.3 and ZiPhone.

I had problems with SSH too after the upgrade. I did a restore and now everything works perfectly.

There's something about openssh not working after having 'upgraded' to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4. I unfortunately did an upgrade first, but then restored to 1.1.4 after not getting ssh access. I've jailbroken the iphone using ZiPhone 2.4 and 2.5 and can get IPHUC access. I'm working on trying out the iPhone AFP server (AFPd) to see if that has the same problems. In the meantime, I tried installing Term-vt100, but when it runs I get asked for a password. I try 'alpine' or 'dottie' or any other password I've set in the past, but Term-vt100 won't give me command line access, so the program is useless for me right now.

    Cheers.
