Default [Problem] idock-icons -Strange behavior - auto jiggle?

    Hi!

    I have a 3g 16GB, jailbreaked with Quickpwn.
The problem is: Very often if i want to open an app from the dock and touch it (so only mail, phone, safari and ipod) all the icons starts jigelling like they do if a icon is touched for a few seconds.

This bug is realy annoying - it doesn´t happen every time.

    i use winterboard -

Please help! i realy have no idea where the problem comes from-
    THANK YOU

I'm having this issue as well. I blamed the phone, since my wife's pwnd iPhone doesn't do this. She doesn't have Winterboard and I can't remember if this had happened before I installed winterboard or not. Looks like I'm going to kill winterboard and see how it goes.

Edit: Niether phone was quick pwned. Both were pwned with pwnage. The wife's phone is an 8GB 3G and mine is a 16GB 3G. My old 2G pwned with 2.1 didn't have these issues. Hence I thought/think it is the phone.

Default Slight issue after Quickpwn 2.1

Hi, I've been a longtime member of Hackint0sh, and a long-time iPhone modder, having j/b/a'd my phone every time from 1.0.2>1.1.2>1.1.4>2.1. In general, I think that 2.1 is the best fw yet, provided you install Backgrounder to allow apps to run in background. My issue is this: after the latest update, I find that the icons are far quicker to "go wiggly" than before. This is happening when I tap an app just to launch it. This isn't a big deal, but I am sure that there is a way to change the time interval necessary for icons to go wiggly. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just my caffeine-shaky fingers? Does anyone know where in the file system this command resides, and what to change? Thanks in advance.

I got this issue too, but, as you said, isn't a big deal, so I live with it. Good luck in your quest, although

Default Why do icons constantly wiggle when I'm clicking on an app?

This happens to me at least twice a day. I click on an application, like the iPod, for example. Instead of opening the application, the icons start wiggling, as though I had held the icon down for a few seconds and wanted to move stuff around.

It started only happening with 2.1. Maybe it's some jailbroken app, but I can't figure out what is causing it.

Anyone else having this happen? If so, what fixed it?

    thanks

it's been happening to my phone as well. i can't recall exactly when i first noticed it, but it's been several weeks at least.

it doesn't happen all the time but often after the phone has been running for a while... i.e. when other things seem to be running slowly such as switching to the SMS, Contacts or Notes apps.

Hmmm. Just updated to 2.2: after jailbreak - same problem again!
As said bevor - the "instant jiggelling" just happens to the dock-apps:
    Mail, Phone, Safari, iPod
    And not everytime. Hmmpf

i get the same problem, and only since i went to 2.1

v.annoying, as is the general feel of the machine, in fact I'm in the middle of doing t all again, as i also get an annoying hang when i go to the dialler screen, it effectively crashes back to springboard within a second or two.

any thoughts on how to fix?
