Here's a metronome app I put together:
Works like a real metronome - grab the pendulum and give it a push to make it start swinging, grab it and let it go near the top and it will stop. The slider controls BPM (currently displayed in text below the slider)
I've been hearing some people say this is better done with Beatbox - do you guys think it's worthwhile to have a separate metronome app?
Hope you like it.
Thank you very much for developing this application, I'll try this out tomorrow asap.
I'm really happy that you decided to create a metronome as its own application.
Thanks, I think this is really great. It would be nice if there was a way to set the bpm numerically. Also, there seems to be a bug at speeds below 100bpm where sometimes there's a delay between beats 2 and 3.
This app doesn't seem to be working for me. It loads but the bpm is vertical, and nothing can be moved. After about 15 seconds it crashes back to the springboard. I'd love an app like this, so hopefully it'll work sometime! :)
I do not like Beat Box. I would love if you continue to have a separate metronome app.
the only app I would like to see eventually combined with the metronome app is a tuner app.
Doesn't work for me also, it starts but I'm unable to do anything and then it just chrashes.
I'm on 1.1.1
Did you run chmod +x /Applications/Metronome.app/Metronome from the command line? It isn't done automatically when you install apps from .zip.
There are definitely some goofy things about the UI, but the weekend is over and I can't work on it right now.
works fine for me, make sure to chmod 755. The UI is slightly buggy... but definitely functional. Perhaps you can show actual BPM.
Throw in a 440 A tuner, and it will be perfect :D.
Hmmm, not strict 440 if possible...
Always nice to be able to tune a tuner (e.g. we normally tune to 441 or 442 in the brass band).
