Default PHP on iPhone - Anyone running it?

I downloaded and installed Apache and PHP. Apache runs fine, but it looks like PHP is cgi-only. I've been half-heartedly messing with it a bit, but haven't gotten it running yet. Anyone have success with it?
    "Are you into S&M?"
"Well...I'm a Red Sox fan. Does that count?"
    Go Sox!

Does anyone know if there is an sqlite api in the iphone php? is it easy to add or do we need to recompile the extension like for Python?

Found a way to run PHP throught lighttpd - you open your lighttpd.conf (don't remember where it is) and add in cgi.assign array this in the end :
    , ".php" => "/opt/iphone/bin/php-cgi"
Restart your iPhone and you have a web-server with php in it.

    I got it:

    Answer to PHP in Apache

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Source:
    Chinese Found:
    http://blog.ilovo.com

    Google Translated:
    http://translate.google.com/translat...language_tools

    Step1:
Install Apache and PHP using Installer.app

    Step2: (follow the guide below)
IPHONE PHP configuration in the environment

open the document for editing / etc / httpd / httpd.conf file, search ... .. , in this intermediate type:

    ScriptAlias /php /opt/iphone/bin
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    Action application/x-httpd-php “/php/php-cgi”

Then edit /etc/profile document, the path to PHP foisted PATH:

    PATH = "/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/opt/iphone/bin"

Resuming APACHE servers through SSH command (in WINSCP) input: apachectl restart

    enjoy it. Enjoy it.

i've been pushed to the blogs after the above failed.

I did the above addition, but get the following message:
"Safari can't open the page because it could not connect to the server."

I know it has something to do with httpd.conf. Because Apache works fine if I revert to the old file.

I'm going crazy since something as silly as this won't work.
    But alas, it isn't.
And I know I the solution will be so stupid I might shoot myself

Is there additional software I need to install?
FWI, the phone seems really slow now when connecting thru Fugu or ssh.

This is how i got it workin'
instead of posting the instructions of how to edit the .conf and profile i'll just post a link to the files already edited and tested to be working.

1- Install Apache and PHP from Installer.app
2- Download the Profile and httpd.conf files HERE
    3- Upload "profile" to /private/etc/
    4- Upload "httpd.conf" to /private/etc/httpd/
6- Install Mobile Terminal and type apachectl restart

**BTW i used ibrickr to upload the files

**php files should go here: /Library/WebServer/Documents/
    that's it, it should work

now... go to safari and type in the URL 127.0.0.1 to test apache
NOTE: for some reason the apachectl stop command does not work, to shut down apache I installed UIctl and unloaded "org.apache.httpd" and restarted my almighty iPhone... to start apache again just go to Terminal and type: apachectl start

again the link for the conf files is http://nono.co.cr/scripts/apache_php.zip
if for some reason you can't access the file let me know and i'll give you a rapshare link

    Hello,

I am using Apache/php/sqlite3 on iPhone to read SMS messages and process them to be displayed in Arabic language correctly.

Check it out here: Arabic iPhone SMS Application
