    Default [Openssh] no icons ?

hello . I had an 1.1.2 otb but I used iplus in order to unlock to 1.1.4 . My problem is that open ssh icon does not appear on and i cannot change the password. Does anyone know how the open ssh icon can appear? I managed to ssh to the iphone using the password alpine. How can i change it?

There is no such a thing as ssh icon. You can't see it.

    Changing root password:

"On your Mac, go to your Appliations folder, then into the Utilities folder. There is a program called Terminal. Launch it. I hope I am painfully clear here. As seen below you will enter two things into the Terminal. Note: after ssh - the character that follows is a lower case l (el), it is not an I (eye). The IP address is YOUR address. In my example it is 10.0.1.11 for MY iPhone. The next line is alpine, which is the default password, unless you changed it.

    ssh -l root 10.0.1.11
    alpine

    Then enter this command:
    passwd

You will then be prompted to enter your new password, and then confirm it. You'll then be returned to the system prompt when it has been changed. That's it."

yup if ur on .3 n chage the password usin the "passwd" command then u'll have the "springboard spinin wheel of death" .

So wut i recommend u to do is upgrade to .4 n jailbreak (i use ziphone besides doin its job everytime, it has a nice lookin gui) then install Cydia. It will automatically insall bsd subsystem n also relocate stuff to give u more room. Dont install bsd from installer or else it will break with cydia fixed; just install "fake bsd subsystem" n ur good to go (this is for apps that require bsd) ..remember NO BSD FROM INSTALLER!

Thise ssh app i posted on the previous post requires ur apps to be runnin as "root" not as "mobile" or else it wont do wut its supposed so if u wanna do this read mah posts here about how to make apps run as root again..

    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...light=mnplight

I felt that ssh needed an icon too, so wut u got there is a great up.. simple n str8 to da pt.

Once u make dos changes u wont need to apply a patch for this a patch for that.. w.e .w.e.. all ur apps will be compatible with .4, so wut do u got to lose if u give ita shot.

Remember if everything goes smo0thly why not give me some rep points.
