    Works great now, but can you make it go to the ROOT Directory so that we can see all the files and such on the Phone

    Sorry, it was just a comment about the background on the MASQUPUS's iPhone.
    It is the Chilean flag, and guess... I'm chilean.

    I'm agreeing. It is essentially a web application; the idea is provide access to your files locally and remotely, so you need a web server.

    The flavor of the web server doesn’t matter to much, I just need php.

    I choose lighttpd because I notice its faster response, the implementation of authentication works better on the iPhone than Apache, and finally because I can’t find a way to shut down the Apache service from the application.

    And believe me, I'm really have not work with lighttpd before.

    i've seen some apps that work with jiggy runtime that also allow u to access ur files remotely. ANyways apache can be shutdown usin some app called BossPrefs, with the proper apache control plugin. I'll give it a try n c how it looks like
