    Default [NES][2.0] How to copy roms in my phone ?

    i recently installed the custom ipsw on my phone to jailbreak it and it installed cydia rather than installer app. I have been trying to figure out how to install the nes roms...i don't understand the instructions that cydia app gives me for the terminal to install the roms..everytime i search the net to learn how to install them it says to use installer app then add a source and the roms will be dl and installed...is there any way to add sources to cydia or is there a way to install installer.app to add the source to get the roms? i am sorry if this is a duplicate post but i have searched...

    Which firmware version do you have?
    If you're on 2.0 there is a good chance that the NES app is not yet compatible.

    If you're on 1.1.4 or below I believe you can use WinSCP or a FTP client (make sure you have OpenSSH installed) to transfer ROM files to the phone (/var/root/Media/ROMs/NES).

    So, in short:
    1. Install the NES Emulator app.
    2. Install OpenSSH.
    3. Download some roms, whatever.
    4. Use WinSCP/FTP Client to transfer roms to "/var/root/Media/ROMs/NES". There should be plenty of tutorials around for using WinSCP or other ways of transfering files to the iPhone.
    5. Reboot phone and play NES games..

    @runnykine
    NES is compatible with 2.0

    @kjdoug
    the ROMs have to be dowloaded seperatly, google "NES ROMs" the ROM`s you use are the same as the roms you would use on a NES Emulator on your pc/mac so they can be found all over the place.

    after you have found ROMs for your favorite classic games just follow runnykine`s instructions

    I've got a problem with the NES emulator: I love it, still it crashes and it won't allow me to save. It used to with an old version, but when I upgraded it to the newer version, it crashes.
    Say you're playing Mario 3 and you're in level 2 or whatever. If you click home button on the iphone and you select NES again, then it retrieves the game, but sometimes it crashes and you need to start over. żAny help?

    Additionally it has a button: SAVE. It just won't work.

    I've done as said above and cannot get it to work. The NES app just loads and closes, nothing. Do permissions need set? Is there a better tutorial?
