I got the PDF download to work, but the AVI download prompt isn't working. Its not a big deal, I probably wont use it that much, but I like playing around to see if I can get it to work. I will keep looking. Its amazing when you want to find those files you cant. Thanks again for the help!!

I dont know whats going on, but now its working. I was able to find .mov and .avi clips and I sent the shortcuts to my email account instead of typing the link out in Safari and it asked me to download them both. So go figure, atleast its working. Thanks again.....

    Okay, I have a few questions/comments.

When I try to download things, I keep downloading stuff like "downloadpage.php" or "downloadblahblahblah.html", and not the actual file. Is there a way around this?

Also, is there a way to download .mp3/.mp4's and then use mobilefinder to put them in their appropriate folders + play them using the ipod on the iphone?

    Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to get windows media player videos to download and the playback through the ipod on the phone? Also could somebody upload a info.plist file with all the possible download extensions in it so I can have them all. This would be so much more useful....Thanks in advance!!

I am crap with OPENSSH (never got it to work) and chmoding... (I only have MobileFinder on my iphone) so I guess I will just have to wait for an update (V .2 for 1.1.2) from CopyCoders through installer. How hard can it be?

I installed V .1 and was looking at my iphone via MobileFinder to see where the folder of the Application is but could not find it. I found the var/root/Downloads folder, I tried to download a Theme from modmyifone, it said it downloaded successfully, but when I look in the var/root/Downloads folder it does not show anything else but the downloads.php file...

    Some advice, anyone?

how hard can it be to rename the "dowload.php" to whatever the file should be (song.mp3/theme.zip/movie.mp4/document.doc)

. the download.php file isn't the file that you probably requested. I would call you stupid, but that's considered a flame.

Hi. Ive installed Netservices and the File download Plugin for 1.1.1, which is the firmware Im using. I was able to download a 5MB file some time ago, a PDF, to test out the application.

However, I was just trying to download a 30MB and a 100MB file from ********** where I have enabed Direct Downloads. To do this I emailed myself the two links, and when I tap on them, Safari opens but says "Safari can't open the page because it is too large."

Does anyone else have this problem?

Edit: I deleted the plugin file and downloaded the file from the first post, copied it into the Plugins folder, restarted computer, and now I can download the files I had trouble with.

This is truly and amazing piece of work you guys have done, congratulations.
