Always nice to be able to tune a tuner (e.g. we normally tune to 441 or 442 in the brass band).
Well at least a tuner with an adjustable A. I just mentioned 440 because I play a viola.

i really hate to be critical because this is an awesome app and i will use it all the time but for me sometimes some of the beats are irregular, and with a metronome its important that its as close to exact as possible, BUT like I said, great app and your work completely amazes me, as I cannot do anything even close to it! thanks for the app!

I agree, the timing isn't quite right. I'm using an NSTimer, which should in theory be accurate enough, except that it isn't. I'm not sure why, and I don't know enough about Cocoa/OS X programming to debug it effectively. I think I'll have to synthesize the audio continuously rather than telling Celestial to play a click aiff every beat. Will take a lot more work, but would make the tuner feature possible. I was amused when I realized that the stock UISliderControl worked fine even when rotated to arbitrary angles. If I can figure out how to subclass it and replace the images, I can make it look much nicer. For some reason the program crashes if I instantiate any class which derives from UISliderControl, even if the class is completely empty. Anybody else tried this? Obviously UIScrubber derives from UISlider and has its own images, so it's possible.
