mcallshow 1.1 turned out to be a battery drainer!
after the app and the db (india) were installed, the battery life was at 65%
cydia did restart the springboard but i didnt power off/on the iphone after that.
at this stage of battery life, i left the phone in sleep mode and i myself went to bed.
after around 8hrs, when i tried to wake the phone to the lock stage, it showed me the battery+plug+lightening bolt icons indicating a battery life of <2%
so it went from 65 to less than 2% in just 8hrs and that too in just sleep mode!
after plugging to the charger, the iphone naturally rebooted.
so this shud now take care of turning the iphone off/on.
but now i cudnt charge the iphone much since i had to leave for work and only had around 27% before i disconnected it from the charger.
now in less than 30mins, it went from 27% to 13%
i immediately uninstalled the db and mcallshow 1.1 and then powered off/on the iphone.
for the rest of the day the iphone lasted in mostly sleep mode from 13% to 3% for around 11hrs and that included listening to the ipod for around 30mins.
this version definitely turned out to be a major battery drainer and i hope mcleaner reads my post and does something about it.
this is really sad coz i love this app.

thanks for your information. After we checked it,we think your problem is just something accidently, for many mcallshow users don't have this problem. we suggest you to try it once more. Thanks

    hi mcleaner,
although u have updated mcallshow to 1.2, im still hesitant to try it again due to the bad experience i had with 1.1 of the battery drain.
but i really love this app.
so if anyone else (other than mcleaner ofcourse) can plz confirm that they r able to use mcallshow 1.1 (or above) without facing any battery drain probs, then i wud definitely give 1.2 a try.
    thanx.

    hi,yohu123
to hear that you are still anxious about the battery drain really suprise me!
many users are using it,but none of them have the battery drain problem. and we are using Iphone everyday, there is no such problem.

your suggestions are good.however,if we put them into one,the data file will be very big,it wont be easy for you to have it on the iphone.

The database for India is not very good. It has numerous codes missing or just wrong. How do you collect this? Any incentives for compiling and giving away a much better db ?
