Exclamation Looking for app that blocks SW udate to 1.1.1 via Itunes

    Hi buddys,
I just had an idea: would it be possible that an app blocks updates via itunes? Many users do update to 1.1.1 without thinking about it (klickyklicky) . It would be great if the iphone would ask for PIN or password in advance to the update!?!

Thats what you get for clicking before you look.

If you are modding your phone you have some idea of what's going on with firmware.

As soon as 1.1.1 came out the don't upgrade warnings were all of the net. Just pay attention.

It already asks you specifically if you want to upgrade so its not like they are surprsing you with an update, and IRC isn't there an extra confirmation box asking if you are sure? I like my 1.0.2 so I'm not about to confirm that last bit.

If you're trying to restore your firmware without upgrading,
On Windows, hold shift when you click restore.
On Mac, hold option when you click restore.
