    Talking Iphone supports MP4 Wooot!!!

Well new discovery, i discovered the iphone is able to play MP4's

Also figured out how to break youtube's server to down load iphone videos. (desktop only)

I'm currenly clueless on the iphone software development and i dont even know where to start

i'v done many year of programin in VB,C, Basic,HTML

so i should have it easy to learn new languages

What i will give out of this:

    Mp4 player for the iphone,
And maybe an automated youtube down loader , so u can save your your vids to ur iphone HD.

Please dont post if you not a software developer
    I need guidance from some

( i guess now i wont be selling my iphone anymore)

    ,Mo Kim

Am I missing something here? The iPhone supports MP4 natively (with H264).

I know, the original poster is clearly a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

YouTube has supported the download of iTunes compatible media for almost a year. The iPhone currently *only* plays mp4 video!

    What a muppet.

Yah i'm new to apple products, and i tried to upload mp4's to my iphone and they never worked, but i guess it's already know and they work.. so my bad

but i still want to know where can i get software for developing software for the iphone.

I want to make a youtube downloader that runs on the iphone, I'm already able to figure out the link which it uses to stream and have successfully downloaded a video off iphone.youtube . So i just need some info on how to program on the iphone ( what language it uses, which compiler to use... etc)

I'd only consider one of those an actual programming language. Let alone one with value.

Don't pay for icanscan's software. Just get Handbrake, it's far better anyways.

    PLEASE, moderators, ban icanscan
    sorry for the off-topic reply.
