Default HOW TO Force Restor iPhone - (When 3rd Party Apps Brick the iPhone)

    Here's what happened:

I was using iFuntastic 3.03 and attempted to complete the YouTube activation. I deleted the Lockdown folder that contains all of the YouTube device keys. Then, iFuntastic froze and the iPhone was not recognized by my computer.

The iPhone would take about 5 minutes to turn on and was painfully slow when switching apps. iTunes would not mount the iPhone.

I thought my new iBrick was bricked for good. But a helpful chat with AppleCare solved my dilemma. I even told them that I never activated the phone and that iFuntastic caused this problem.

The Fix: Force Restore - (Thank You AppleCare)

    1) Turn Off iPhone, disconnect from computer
    2) Launch iTunes
    3) Hold "Home" button on iPhone
    4) Connect iPhone USB to computer and iPhone - KEEP HOLDING
    5) iTunes should mount iPhone and force restore

Restore should take anywhere between 3-5 minutes usually.
